AI-generated artwork can be a useful starting point for a clothing graphic, but the image still needs to be checked before it becomes a print file. The more complex the design, the more important that review becomes.
Many AI tools produce images that look acceptable at screen size but break down when enlarged. Inspect small text, fingers, faces, fine lines and repeated details before sending the file.
Look for unwanted halos, hidden backgrounds and shapes that merge into one another. A transparent background and clear silhouette can make the production conversation easier.
An AI image may have the right feeling but the wrong details. Decide which elements are essential to the design and which need to be redrawn, removed or simplified.
Save the prompt, original file and any reference artwork. You may need them when explaining what should change or when reviewing the design direction.
