Wait 24–36 hours before the first wash. The print continues to settle after pressing, and washing too soon—especially with heat—can put unnecessary stress on the bond.

Turn the garment inside out and use a cool wash around 30–40°C on a gentle or medium cycle. A shorter cycle is kinder to the print, especially for the first few washes.

Use a mild, pH-neutral detergent where possible and use little or no fabric softener. Avoid bleach, heavy stain removers and other harsh chemicals, which can affect both the garment and the print.

You can, but avoid rough items such as bags, Velcro or heavy hardware that may rub against the artwork. Keeping the garment inside out reduces friction against the print surface and the washing machine drum.

Line dry or air dry the garment inside out, away from harsh direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry; repeated heat can affect the print and cause the garment to shrink or lose shape.

Never iron directly over the printed area. If ironing is needed, turn the garment inside out and use low heat, or place a clean protective cloth between the iron and the artwork.

No—avoid dry cleaning unless the garment and supplied care instructions specifically say it is suitable. Cool washing and air drying is the safer routine for printed garments.

DTF prints are designed to be flexible and durable when applied to a suitable garment and cared for properly. Their life depends on washing, heat, detergent, friction and how often the garment is worn.

Excessive heat, harsh chemicals, aggressive washing, rough abrasion or an unsuitable garment can all cause problems. If something looks wrong, stop applying heat and contact us with a photo and the order details so we can assess it properly.

A temporary press mark can appear on some garments after production and usually settles or washes out over the first few washes. Follow the garment care label and do not try to remove it with extra heat.

Store them clean and completely dry, away from damp, direct sunlight and unnecessary heat. Avoid repeatedly folding a large print sharply across the same line.

Keep the deck dry and away from prolonged direct sun, high heat and damp storage. For display pieces, use suitable hardware and avoid stacking pressure or rubbing the graphic against rough surfaces.

Use a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth and gentle pressure, then dry it straight away. Do not soak the deck, use abrasive cleaners or scrub across the graphic.
