How to Wash and Care for Printed T-Shirts and Hoodies

Good aftercare helps printed garments stay wearable and presentable. Always follow the care information supplied with the garment and the specific instructions provided for the print.

Before the first wash

Let the garment settle according to the production guidance. Check the inside label and keep the care instructions with the order if the garments are being distributed to a team or customer group.

Wash with care

Turn printed garments inside out, use a suitable wash setting and avoid treating the printed area aggressively. Cold or cool washing is commonly recommended for printed apparel, but the garment’s own care label takes priority.

Drying and ironing

Avoid applying direct high heat to the printed surface. If ironing is needed, protect the artwork and follow the garment and print instructions.

Storage

Store garments clean and dry, without placing heavy objects on the printed area for long periods.
