A design can look correct on a screen and still create a problem when placed on a dark garment. The background, contrast and artwork edges all need to be considered before production.
A white rectangle behind a logo or illustration can become part of the printed artwork. If the intention is to show the garment through the open areas, those areas need to be transparent in the artwork file.
Preview the design on the actual garment colour, not just a white artboard. Look for low-contrast text, thin lines and colours that disappear against the fabric.
Background removal can leave halos or rough edges around a subject. Zoom in on the artwork and check the areas that will sit against the garment.
Do not rebuild a complex image from memory just to make it look clean. Send the original, the background version and any references through Print File Fix so the next step is based on the real file.
